The Olympics

Do you cheers for the American (or your nationality whatever it might be) or for the likable athlete. If you haven't noticed these aren't always the same. Case in point one Bode Miller.

I have really begun gravitating towards the athletes who I think are good role models, and who see it as there job to be such. Cross-Country skiing had a really cool event today, Team Sprint. Two person teams, taking part in relay format, all classical (non-skating) stride. I was cheering for the Canadians, even though there were two Americans in the race. Okay, I knew the Americans didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell, but Canadian skier Beckie Scott is also a worthy role model, and that sold it.

(Hey, she did the "Nordic Nudes" calendar. Now that's a role model!)
